This is one of the shorter albums, small and unassuming. It doesn't break any new technical or conceptual ground. And perhaps that's why I think it holds together well; the overall production is solid. I play guitar on every track, and that's me singing on "Come Clean".
Right on the heels of this album came Automotiva, which was notable for ending the Cross & Crescent cycle. So I think that I wrapped this one up quickly to get going on the Automotiva installment. Anyway, as it stands, I think that was a good idea. Nothing here sounds overworked to me.
